The Opportunity

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible to create and maintain a strong social presence through multiple social channels and effectively organize and manage all Social Media platforms for Kat Cadegan Jewellery. The Social Media Coordinator ensures all communication content represents the Kat Cadegan Jewellery’s brand strategy and storytelling, to inspire and engage with our community of followers, fans and influencers and to align with the broader marketing strategies. 

The Job : This is an in person job. You must be located in Revelstoke. 

  • Create and execute social media strategies that are in line with business cycles and further build brand awareness through social media and direct marketing channels.
  • Create and post engaging content through image and video for all social media platforms.
  • Provide positive + timely engagement with our followers as an extension of our brand and in-store customer care experience.
  • Manage an optimal online posting schedule considering web traffic, customer engagement, promotions and community reach.
  • Ensure a cohesive and seamless social media + marketing strategy for our followers and customers.
  • Coordinate and manage all photoshoots as needed including location, product and people.
  • Oversee website imagery and content is detailed and updated monthly at minimum to reflect current conditions with social media.
  • Planning and execution of direct email marketing and digital advertising.
  • Planning and execution of content calendar minimum 30 days out. 
  • Monthly reporting of analytics & KPI’s regarding all social channels and email marketing. Setting clear targets and goals and tracking progress and success. 


  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in social media.
  • Post Secondary Education in a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability to produce and edit photography + video.
  • Proficient in graphic design for content creation maintaining brand voice guidelines.
  • Proficient understanding and activation in all social media platforms.
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proven experience in managing timelines and project plans.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion and lifestyle retail industry.

Job Type: Part time to start with the intention to be full time- 35 hours/week following a 90 day trial.

Work Location: Must be in person


Starting wage : $20 + depending on experience
