Retail sales associate

We are growing our team and are searching for a detail oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic individual!

Kat Cadegan Jewellery is seeking a retail sales associate to join our Revelstoke team. Applicants must have a strong background in retail and customer service. This individual will be responsible for in store sales, delivering excellent customer care and curating client relationships. 

As a sale associate, this individual will oversee the day to day operations at Kat Cadegan Jewellery. As the face of KCJ, they should provide the best quality of customer service to each and every individual. The individual is required to maintain a professional appearance at all times. The ideal candidate works well under pressure to handle multitasking, delivering pristine shopping experiences to our visitors and completing daily tasks at the store. 

Qualifications

⧫ Experience in a retail environment

⧫ Experience in Shopify is considered an asset

⧫ Excellent oral and written communication

⧫ A calm and collected demeanour with a passion for problem solving and conflict resolution

⧫ Outgoing and friendly personality

⧫ Ability to efficiently multitask

⧫ Interest in jewellery, fashion and social media is considered an asset

⧫ Creative, forward thinking, self-motivated

Responsibilities

⧫ Driving sales and delivering excellent customer service

⧫ Be able to assess the needs of the day and efficiently organize tasks

⧫ Manage the general inquiries email inbox

⧫ Fulfilment of online orders

⧫ Engage with weekly check ins

⧫ Use a case by case approach to responding to customer inquiries where necessary.

⧫ Assess customer inquiries with utmost care and consideration 

⧫ Use calendly for booking custom meetings

⧫ Managing cash outs and adequate float

⧫ Ensures the retail store is clean and tidy at all times

⧫ Maintaining display cases, refreshing and updating displays

⧫ Bonus points for social media knowledge: content creation & copy,  photography with an iphone or SLR camera

⧫ The position can be either part time or full time 

 Benefits:

⧫ Extended medical available after a 3 month probation period

⧫ Generous staff discount

 Schedule:

⧫ Sat, Sun, Mon 10am - 6pm

Education:

⧫ Secondary School

Wage:

⧫ Starting wage $22/hr
